The rock cycle is a continues path in which rocks are created, changed, destroyed and formed again. There are three different types of rocks, which include Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic, these rocks are all involved in the rock cycle . All rocks take there own path in the rock cycle, a rock could start out as sedimentary and then get eroded into sediment or the rock cycle could start off as metamorphic and get melted, but it does not have to start at one important spot. The rock cycle can take many turns on its way to being different rock, like in the picture a rock in the rock cycle could become sediment by weathering and erosion and magma from melting, but it also goes through the processes of cooling and many other paths that the rock cycle can take including heat and pressure and compaction and cementation.
