Examples: Particles of rocks, shells, bones, leaves, stems etc.

Sedimentary rock is made up of four things, Erosion, Deposition, Compaction, Cement.
Erosion- Particles carried away from their source by wind or water
Deposition- Particles are deposited as loosely packed sediment
Compaction- Particles squeezed together by great pressure
Cementation- Particles glued together as mineral solutions hardens
Sedimentary rock also used in our daily life, Examples of Sedimentary rock would be , limestone, sandstone, Shale, Breccia, Conglomerate, Siltstone and much much more.

LimestoneLimestone is made mostly of mineral calcite. It is used as a building stone for lime and glass making.

SANDSTONESand stone is literally made of sand. It is used mostly in building materials.
|
ShaleMud, slit and clay are things that can form shale. Shale is easily broken and so it is used in paint, because it is so easy to crush.
|
BrecciaBreccia is made up of small, sharp pieces. Breccia is not used a lot, but mostly for architect and sculptures.
